In June of this year, I lost the use of my legs. I was panicked, in extreme pain, and highly distressed. My first reaction was to get on a flight to London or Johannesburg for treatment, but I knew I wouldn’t be able to endure the journey. I called Vitalis and was advised to make my way to the clinic. Dr. Charles made a preliminary adjustment to alleviate the pain, then sent me for diagnostic imaging, which revealed that I had damaged my spine in three areas. Dr. Charles assured me that with three sessions per week, the nerve damage would repair, and my walking would eventually return. Thanks to his diligent care, supplemented by physical therapy, I am ecstatic to say that five months later, I am once again walking. I still have some way to go, but I am eternally grateful for his care and the support of his staff. More About Our Founder
Meet Dr. Charles Jhessim
Our head physician, Dr. Charles Jhessim, is a licensed chiropractor with over 10 years of experience. He spcializes in helping clients with spine and nerve system related problems.
He is highly decorated as a professional, being a physiotherapy graduate of University of Ghana School of Allied Health Sciences.
In 2013, he obtained his doctorate, topping the class with a Summa Cum Laude at the Sherman College of Chiropractic in South Carolina, USA. In addition, he was awarded the Milton W. Garfunkel Award and numerous others.
Since then, he has been providing safe and great chiropractic care to people from different parts of the world and of all age groups from toddlers to elderly folk, helping them improve their health and wellbeing.
